You don’t have to be a natural stepper. You don’t have to know the counts. You don’t have to be confident.
You just have to be willing to move.
DexSteps is a trauma-informed line dance instructor, workshop facilitator, and movement educator blending rhythm, storytelling, and holistic health into every experience.
DexSteps teaches line dancing from a trauma-informed, education-centered perspective. That means:
Steps are broken down clearly into counts, phrases, transitions, and common language.
Movements are taught progressively so beginners feel safe and included.
Mental health components are intentionally integrated into workshops.
You are encouraged to grow at your own pace.
Every step is welcome. Every step tells a story.
